The GCUSBCA supports several privately run tournamaments throughout the bowling season.

Charleston 8-Game Scratch Classic
Open
The Charleston 8-Game Scratch Classic is a `singles tournament open to all USBC certified bowlers. The tournament is held the 3rd Sunday of the month January-October at Swamp Fox Lanes. The June tournament is held the 2nd Sunday of the month due to Father's Day A final tournament will be held in November for the ten bowlers in points.
James E. Strode Memorial Ironman Tournament

The James E. Strode Memorial Ironman Tournament is an annual tournament held the first weekend of August at Swamp Fox Lanes in Moncks Corner, SC. The tournament features scratch and handicap divisions with options of single or marathon entries. The Ironman Champion is guaranteed a $2500 payout.

Charleston Senior 6-Pack Scratch Classic
Bowlers 50 and over
The Charleston Senior 6-Pack Scratch Classic is a singles tournament open to all USBC certified bowlers aged 50 and over. The tournament is held the 2nd Sunday of the month January-September at Marrington Lanes, starting in January, 2023. The January tournament will be held the 2nd Sunday of the month in 2023. A final tournament will be held in October for the top eight bowlers in points.
